FTCD strengthens African ties at the Tan-Tan Moussem
The Chadian Federation of Camel Racing (FTCD) proudly took part in the 18th edition of the International Tan-Tan Moussem, held from May 14 to 18, 2025, in the Kingdom of Morocco. This prestigious event was organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in partnership with the United Arab Emirates. The festival celebrated Saharan culture through captivating camel races, cultural showcases, and exchanges between desert communities.
Represented by Vice President Chérif Allatchi Galma and Advisor Mahamat Salah Kebir, FTCD seized the opportunity to strengthen its connection with the Moroccan Federation of Camel Racing. Together, they laid the foundation for an enduring partnership aimed at building a shared future for camel racing development across Africa.
This participation also led to the establishment of new strategic partnerships, positioning Chad at the heart of cultural exchange and the revival of nomadic heritage on a continental scale.
FTCD’s active involvement in this major cultural gathering confirms its leading role in promoting Saharan traditions and advancing camel sports regionally and internationally.
